1. Meet at an airport. Prefer a public ramp or a known FBO over a private driveway.
2. Do not send deposits by wire, gift card, crypto, or shipping-label tricks. If a seller will not talk on a live phone call, walk away.
3. Confirm N-number, serial, and seller identity against the airframe and logs. Title search before you pay.
4. Hire a pre-buy. A cheap airplane with a story is still an airplane that needs an IA.
5. Wanted ads and events are not escrow. AirplaneHub does not hold funds and does not guarantee a listing.
